What is Scholastic's 2017 Laydown Date Policy and Contract?
Scholastic’s 2017 Laydown Policy and Contract applies to all 2017 titles with restricted laydown dates. The Policy explains Scholastic's terms and conditions as they relate to sales to your customers. Adherence to the Policy ensures fair distribution for all customers.

Retailers and distributors who do not return a completed 2017 Laydown Date Contract will not qualify for early delivery for titles with strict laydown dates.

If you use the authorized cover art only, a copyright notice is unnecessary. If you pull an image from the cover illustration, you are required to use the following copyright notice: 2016 Illustration Agreement. Advertisements must receive prior approval from Scholastic Canada. Please contact your sales representative with proposed advertisements.

It is important that retailers and distributors adhere to the following promotional guidelines:
