Accessibility Standard for Customer Service

In Compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA)

Scholastic Canada is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities. All customer service provided by Scholastic Canada shall follow the ideals of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.

As part of our commitment to accessibility, we will ensure that Scholastic Canada staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing goods or services; whether it be through their user experience on our website, our customer service department or at any of our locations. We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.

Our scholastic.ca Accessibility Project is currently under construction, we have a goal of supplying WCAG 2.0 Level AA website accessibility for all online customers in advance of the legislated date of January 1, 2021.

As we continue to improve our services for people with disabilities, we will post changes here within our accessibility statement section on our website, so you will know the progress we are making.
