SUNSHINE QUEM TENASCO is Anishinabe, from Kitigàn Zìbì Anishinàbe. She is a clean water activist, mother of four and an entrepreneur, founder of Her Braids (herbraids.com) and Pow Wow Pitch (powwowpitch.org). Nibi’s Water Song was her first book and she is also the author of Smile So Big, illustrated by Chief Lady Bird.
