About Karen Katz
Karen Katz enjoys designing costumes, creating quilts, and printmaking, and she has a special interest in folk art from around the world. A book designer for many years, Ms. Katz says the inspiration for "Over the Moon" came after she and her husband went to Central America to adopt their daughter, Lena. Ms. Katz has written another book about Lena--"The Colors of Us,"Ms. Katz and her family live in New York City and Woodstock, New York.
