JaNay Brown-Wood, PhD, is a former early childhood professor and the author of several books for children, including Imani’s Moon and Grandma’s Tiny House. She enjoys writing and reading, discussing the importance of diversity in children’s literature, presenting about child development and literacy, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
