WERNER ZIMMERMANN is a bestselling children's book illustrator whose works include A Porcupine in a Pine Tree and its sequels, At the Pond, the Farmer Joe series, Snow Day, Henny Penny, Pippin the Christmas Pig and In My Backyard. He has been nominated three times for the Governor General's Literary Award for Illustration, and he and Jean Little won the Mr. Christie's Award for Pippin the Christmas Pig.
