About Ashley Quach

Ashley Quach is a writer and illustrator best known for her art in books like Princess Dinosaur and Santa’s Husband. She likes to paint with watercolors and ink, and she especially likes to draw funny faces and teeny tiny details. She got the idea for this book from her memories of taking ballet classes in North Carolina when she was a little girl. She is now a grown-up and lives in California in a house that is more than 100 years old. Starring Sophie is her debut book as a children’s author.
