Daniel Miyares a illustré plusieurs livres dont Bambino and Mr. Twain et Excusez-moi!, son premier album illustré en tant qu'auteur-illustrateur. En 2002, il obtient un baccalauréat en illustration du Ringling College of Art and Design et depuis, il travaille chez Hallmark Cards Inc. Daniel habite tout près de Kansas City, au Missouri.
